Harry Beer, Counsellor
My approach.
I am a person-centred counsellor.
This means I believe each individual has the capacity for growth and healing; my job as your counsellor is to offer the conditions to facilitate this process.
I offer a non-directive, non-judgemental, safe space where your story, your experiences, your pain, are able to be heard. You are the best and only expert on yourself. You set the agenda for the counselling work and I will offer you my consistent, reliable, undivided attention.
My role in our relationship is to offer you my unencumbered, authentic self and to use empathy to help better understand your concerns. I will not judge, advise or offer opinions; but will accompany you as you explore your experiences and distress, and together we can help you find your own resolutions.
Sharing with a trained counsellor allows you to understand and reframe your situation. In truly hearing yourself, you gain new insights and perspective, and realise your capacity for self-compassion and therapeutic change.
If hoarding or clutter is affecting you please do get in touch, I offer an empathetic, non-judgemental service where you are in control.
